Cream Cheese & Fig Toast | Easy Breakfast

The perfect breakfast for a warm summer day or a winter pick me up. Light, flavoursome, delicious and super easy to make.


Ingredients

  • 2 slices of sourdough bread

  • Cream cheese

  • 2 Figs

  • Fresh or dried thyme

  • Fresh Parsley

  • Honey (Optional)

Instructions

  1. Start by toasting the bread

  2. After, spread the cream cheese onto the slices, the thicker the better!

  3. Slice the figs in twos or three depending on how big they are

  4. Lay the sliced figs on top of the toasts

  5. Chop up some parsley and thyme and sprinkle over both toast

  6. Add a drizzle of honey to enhance the flavours
