Soft & gooey on the inside, this brownie recipe is one of my favourites.
Packed with all the chocolatey goodness, and peanut butter, this is the perfect treat that will leave you wanting more.
Ingredients
250 g quality dark chocolate
250 g unsalted butter
4 eggs
250 g golden caster sugar
2 heaped tbsp self-raising flour
2 heaped tbsp cocoa powder
3 Reese’s cups
3-4 tbsp of peanut butter
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350ºF/177ºC/Gas Mark 4
Line baking tin with greaseproof baking paper
Melt chocolate and butter in a heatproof bowl. Melt over a pan of gently simmering water.
Crack the eggs into a large bowl, then add the sugar and whisk until light, pale and fluffy.
Sift in the flour, followed by the cocoa. Whisk to combine, then fold in the melted chocolate.
Spoon the half of the mixture into the lined tin and spread it out evenly.
Break up the Reece’s cups over the mixture
Cover with the remaining mixture and spread it out evenly.
Add clumps of peanut butter evenly spaced and use a dinner knife to create desired swirls.
Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, or until crisp on the outside but slightly wobbly.
Leave to cool before serving
